Riad in Chefchaouen, Morroco
The city was founded in 1471, as a small fortress which still exists today, by Moorish exiles from Spain. It’s noted for its buildings in shades of blue and its name refers to the shape of the mountain tops above the town, which look like the two horns (chaoua) of a goat. (photography by Jordi Canosa)
